Global initiatives

The business is signed up to relevant global initiatives including:

  • UN Global Compact

  • SBTi

  • EcoVadis

We are committed to transparency and accountability in our sustainability efforts. Beginning with our inaugural ESG Update in May 2025, we will publish an annual report aligned with GRI and SASB disclosure standards.

Additionally, we will complete a new EcoVadis assessment mid-year and submit our SBTi targets for validation in 2025, with a CDP climate disclosure and climate risk assessment planned for 2026.

Our net zero roadmap sets a clear path forwards

Together, with Carbon Trust we defined a credible Net Zero roadmap, starting with a verified baseline footprint and ending with science-based targets.

ESG Oversight

Our highest executive body, the Group Leadership Team (GLT), is responsible for ensuring that our Enterprise Risk strategy aligns with our ESG strategic initiatives and priorities. The full GLT sits on both the ESG Committee and the Enterprise Risk Committee.

Composition of the Committee

Comprising of group and senior leadership management employees from key functional units.

Steering Group

The Steering Group represents the GLT, acting on behalf of the Board.

Advisory Group

The Advisory Group comprises heads and team leads from functional units, reporting directly to the Steering Group

ESG Committee

The Committee was formed to drive and oversee Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives and management within Bespak. Its mandate encompasses broad and specific responsibilities, including the integration of ESG principles across the organisation's operations and products, to ensure the achievement Group's ESG targets and effective management of climate risk exposure.
