Maria is a highly accomplished CFO with extensive experience in the food industry. She joined Bespak from Meadow Foods, where she served as CFO for nearly five years. Prior to this, she held senior financial roles at Brakes Group, including CFO of Brakes UK and Fresh Direct Group. With a background at PwC, Maria brings deep expertise in financial strategy, compliance, and private equity-backed businesses.
Maria is an ICAEW qualified accountant and holds a BSc in Economics and French from the University of Surrey.
Alan has over 20 years’ experience working in respiratory product development and manufacturing technical roles for innovator and generic pharmaceutical companies. Most recently, Alan held a position within the Technical Services team for a global pharmaceutical company responsible for manufacturing and technical aspects of externally manufactured respiratory products.
Alan holds a BSc in Chemistry and a PhD in Materials Science (specialising in polymer science) from the University of Birmingham.
Darren has over 30 years’ experience in engineering & manufacturing with over 20 years in the automotive industry and the past 8 years in the medical device sector. He most recently held the position of Site Director for the King’s Lynn site at Recipharm.
Darren holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) along with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and certifications in disruptive and operational strategies from the Harvard & MIT Business Schools.
Oren has over 15 years of in-house and private practice experience in the life sciences legal sector, working in multinational pharmaceutical organisations and in the CDMO industry. Most recently, Oren was Group Head of Legal, Commercial for Recipharm.

Louise has over 20 years' experience in Human Resources and has held senior roles across a variety of different sectors, most recently in the food and drink industry as People Director with Princes Plc. Louise brings a wealth of experience in HR leadership, with a strong track record of shaping people strategies that drive transformation and growth, championing talent development, organisational culture and employee engagement.
Louise holds an MA Human Resources and a BA (Hons) Business Studies, both from Liverpool John Moores University, and is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD.
